Madisen Holtzen, formerly Johnson is a Kansas Wesleyan University graduate, She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Studio art and is pursing her Masters Degree in Science of Education. She loves to create art, specifically with color; and enjoys incorporating subjects regarding nature; such as figures, bones, plants, and, animals that represent symbolism into her work. Born and raised in Solomon Kansas, she grew up attending a K-12 school and did not truly experiment with art until her later years in college. Madisen loves to experiment with different painting styles and a variety of color palettes. Painting has always been her passion, but she also enjoys exploring other art techniques too. She has a beautiful family consisting of three sons and a wonderful husband. She is currently working as an elementary art teacher in Kansas.
